Wanksy, this has to be his most dire work yet.
A new mural, confirmed to be the work of street art superstar Banksy, has popped up overnight in London’s Finsbury Park.
The artwork, which adorns the side of a building, shows a splattering of green paint behind a leafless tree which looks like leaves. There is also a stencil of a woman holding a pressure hose nearby.
It’s fucking awful, even by that twat’s standards. If it was me, I’d paint it over. Dreadful daub. Bloody awful.
If everyone just painted over these murals immediately then perhaps there would be fewer of them?
Call it improving the art. An homage to Robert Ryman. Who dare gainsay you. Especially if you are “anonymous” like Cranksy.
How exactly does confirmation present itself? and to whom?
If it is a tedious daub featuring a stencil, it’s a Wanksy.
I understand some ‘vandal’ has splashed white paint over it, leading to a security fence being erected. Perhaps the ‘vandal’ was really an art critic improving the green daubing? Who can tell these days?
Taxpayers money being wasted by Islington council to protect graffiti thrown up by some pompous asshat.
Yet a decent mural including the Union flag is somehow inappropriate. I suppose Wanksy is the right kind of vandal.
A story just popped up on the US block Knuckledraggin my life away. A high school kid goes to shool in his pick up truck and likes to fly a US flag on it. The school principle takes offence to the flag and tells the kid to take it off the truck. First it is established that no laws or school rules are being broken. Next all the other kids start flying flags on their cars and trucks too. Then a local car body shop gives the kid a stars and stripes paint job for his truck. That seems to be the way to deal with the offended, rub their noses in it good and hard.
I saw that on YouTube. I didn’t see the follow-up, but yes, two fingers is the way. Openly defy the bastards and keep doing it., The only power they have is the power we grant them.
