Well, Well, Well…

There’s a surprise.

Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards has been charged with making indecent images of children which were shared on his phone.

The 62-year-old, who resigned from the BBC after 40 years in April, faces three charges over alleged activity between December 2020 and April 2022. Police have said the offences are linked to images shared on WhatsApp.

I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

  1. I’m not sure that this reflects badly on the BBC, is there any evidence that the Beeb knew about this behaviour and carried on employing him anyway?

  2. Another one.
Alan Dedicoat (newsy person who was part of the Wogan show) said drugs were daily being delivered to the desks at the BBC. Add this noncery, and all the rest of their behaviour and there really must be a good case to close the whole rotten enterprise.
Even the statue in the entrance of aerial was by Eric Gill, who manage to abuse both his daughters and the family dog.

  3. The person whose photos he took was 17 – presumably if Labour believe that 17 year olds can vote – surely they should be able to consent to this.
I believe that 17 year olds are children and should not be able to vote nor consent to such images I also believe in consistency.

    • Not true – “He admitted having 41 indecent images of children, which had been sent to him by another man on WhatsApp, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.

They included seven category A images, the most serious classification – two of which showed a child aged between about seven and nine.”

  4. And put them on a WhatsApp chat!?

I suppose when you think you are above the little people…..
