A far-right group has raised thousands of pounds for the families of prisoners locked up over their roles in the anti-immigration riots that took place across the UK in the summer.
Almost £15,000 has been collected by Patriotic Alternative through an online fundraiser to help relatives of convicts “get by” while prison sentences are served.
This is a cause for outrage in all the right thinking circles. My own view being that if people want to pitch in, so be it. It’s their money to do with as they wish. However, the corker here is this outrageous lie.
The peaceful Black Lives Matter demonstrations took place in 2020, following the murder of George Floyd at the hands of US police officer Derek Chauvin. Thousands of people took to the streets to stage anti-racist protests and demand an end to state violence against Black people around the world.
Seriously. Not even ‘mostly’ peaceful. The looting, arson and criminal attacks on individuals – some resulting in murder – apparently didn’t happen in Indy world. Fucking Hell! Is it any wonder that PA are claiming – rightly – that there has been a two tier response here? Frankly, compared with what happened in 2020, this lot were amateurs.
I know that my cynicism has increased when faced by lies from the political and media classes, but this barefaced, blatant falsehood, published without a hint of self-awareness takes it to a whole new level.

Some time ago I saw a Youtube video presented by Glenn Loury and John McWhorter; they reviewed the video evidence from police cameras and came to the conclusion that George Floyd was not murdered at all.
