The meltdown is glorious.
If Donald Trump’s previous administration taught us anything, it’s that women’s bodies do not matter. The autonomy of those bodies, the frequent injustices and abuses inflicted on them, are of little consequence to a far-right misogynist administration that is – unbelievably to some – back in power after an all too brief period of reprieve, if not change. Women’s bodies are also of little consequence to the people who voted for Donald Trump.
She should apply for a CAP subsidy for that strawman. But this is the narrative – hysterical hyperbole and made up bullshit. Is there nothing this literally Hitler will not do now that he is back in office?
I saw it said elsewhere, but the advice given to these infantile pricks was to write down all your fears and tick them off when they come true over the next four years.
Frankly, I doubt much box ticking will happen
As for the Guardian and its stupid columnists – abortion is not a federal matter, it is a state one, which is why Roe v Wade was overturned and rightly so. Ergo, nothing to do with the president.
Hysterical hyperbole and made up bullshit.
This is a big part of their problem. By constantly misquoting him and inventing all kinds of nonsense about him, they have created a grotesque caricature and that is the Trump that they are so afraid of. There is also a huge amount of projection going on, they are the ones who hate Jews and want to run the country in cahoots with big business but Trump is the Fascist. They are the ones using lawfare against a political opponent and trying to assassinate him but he is a threat to democracy. They are the ones who are pissed of about their actions being thwarted by the Constitution but he supposedly wants to abolish it.
Roe v Wade was overturned in 2022, who was President and VP? Mmm..? If they wanted to, surely they could have introduced a law to make it legal to be a Federal matter, but they didn’t.
