Brown is the Best Man for the Job

According to Alan Johnson, Brown is the best man for the job of PM:

Health Secretary Alan Johnson has defended Gordon Brown’s leadership, saying he is “better than me or anyone else” as prime minister.

He called Mr Brown a “man for these times”, despite several leading Labour figures criticising his performance.

He could be right, of course – which leads to the fairly obvious question; just how dire are all the rest?

It also leads to the other obvious question that arises during such stomach churning displays of sycophantic brown nosing among politicians; who is wielding the knife?

  1. “who is wielding the knife?”

In this case, I suspect the answer is ‘everyone who isn’t Alan Johnson’…
