I caught part of the SNP conference on the BBC this afternoon. Alex Salmond wants more Scottish influence in Westminster, apparently. One wonders where he has been this past decade or so. One also wonders if he is aware of the parody singularity. —————————- Update: The quote that both amused me and made me angry was this:
What the fuck does he think Gordon Brown has been doing all this time? What the fuck does he think the West Lothian question is all about? |

Why would you want to have anything to do with an SNP conference, LR?
.-= My last blog ..Lights go out across Europe =-.
It happened to be on the news.
You must be angry, you don’t normally ‘eff’ so much!
I have my moments 😉
In this case, it’s the sheer effrontery that makes me hopping. How dare he? The English are busy pouring money into a Scots system that they do not themselves have access to. And Salmond conveniently ignores the fact that his 20 (yeah, right) Westminster MPs will be voting on laws that affect England but that do not affect their own constituents. Again, how dare he?
“And Salmond conveniently ignores the fact that his 20 (yeah, right) Westminster MPs will be voting on laws that affect England but that do not affect their own constituents.”
How many times do I have to read this drivel!
Please understand that unlike Labour, Conserative (I know there is only 1 MP in Scotland) and Lib Dem, the SNP DO NOT VOTE ON PURELY ENGLISH MATTERS-GOT IT!!!!
JPJ2 – Don’t come on here and shout.
My main point stands, though – Westminster is already dancing to a Scottish tune.
Independence for dorset thats my mantra!
