Predictable…

You would have thought they would have seen it coming

A scientific experiment has found that two mediums were unable to demonstrate that they had special psychic powers.

The test by researchers at Goldsmiths, University of London, tried to establish whether mediums could use psychic abilities to identify something about five unseen volunteers.

The results, carried out under test conditions, did not show evidence of any unexplained powers of insight.

Well, there’s a surprise…

But medium Patricia Putt said this experiment “doesn’t prove a thing”.

I must be psychic, ‘cos that was exactly what I expected them to say.

  1. Maybe a ‘medium’ wasn’t enough, maybe they should have got a ‘large’?

Some people will still believe in psychic abilities even though disproved in this way. After all this lot ( http://www.theosophical-society.org.uk/ ) are still going. GK Chesterton, I think, got it right when he said “When people cease to believe in God, they don’t believe in nothing; they believe in anything”

  2. The word is not “charlatan” it is dleiberate public … LIAR

Actually, I’m suprised they finally agreed to the tests, because we knew what the result was going to be.
One does have to watch it, because these frauds are very good at reading body-language & picking up other small clues.
All falls apart if put in a cubicle with no visula contact, of course!
