Chancellor George Osborne has dashed hopes of tax cuts before the 2015 general election by signalling that any tax windfalls generated by the recovery will be used the cut government borrowing.
We are already massively over taxed. If the state is borrowing too much, then the answer is simple. It is the answer each of us has managed to work out with our own finances. It involves cutting one’s cloth. It means stop spending our money like it’s going out of fashion.
