The power of Social Media

A few days ago, I posted about my experience with writing to my MP. A couple of days later I received a message on my mobile from the constituency office. As I’ve been busy training, taking calls during the day has been impracticable, so I called back and left a message advising them to write. This morning I received an email apologising for the delay. Apparently Mr Skidmore is seeking further details on the matter of the opt-out for Care.Data. Fair enough and fair enough, they acknowledge that they should have let me know that – which was what Roger Berry always did if he couldn’t answer straight away.

Still, just goes to show that this social media stuff does work, eh (yes, they acknowledged that they had seen it)? Oh, and those trolls who think I am hiding behind anonymity may like to take note that Skidmore’s team worked out who I am in pretty short order, so if I am hiding, I’m staggeringly useless at it.
