Sanctimonious Hogwash

The political leaders’ facile Christmas homilies. What would be nice would be a period (a long period) of silence from these obnoxious jackanapes. But, no, this tacky season is an excuse for them to  give us the benefit of their shallow thinking.

David Cameron has stressed his commitment to “Christian values” as he delivered his seasonal message to the country.

The prime minister said “giving, sharing and taking care of others” at home and around the world was something Britain could be proud of.

A world we can be proud of is one where the state gets out of our lives, stops funding vile little special interest groups, fake charities and quangos. One that doesn’t have a PM thrusting his belief in magical sky fairies down our throats. We are not a Christian nation and that is a good thing, not a bad one. We have seen what a Christian nation looks like and it wasn’t pretty. Unless the glow of burning pyres lighting up the streets is your thing.

As for Miliband, the egregious twat has nothing of intelligence to add to any discussion. Likewise Clegg. The three of them just need to shut up, go away and preferably slit their wrists. Meanwhile, I’ll get my sick bag out.

  1. and anyway Camoron does not give a flying F*ck about caring for British people all he cares about is being seen as “caring” around the world and even that is fake, just because you throw money at a thing does not mean you care, it means you can’t be bothered to make them do it themselves.
Whilst old people starve and the really sick are signed on as fit to work the only person that jumped up little upstart is fooling is himself because he sure as hell is not fooling me!

  2. “David Cameron stressed his commitment to his own PR as he delivered his seasonal message to the country.”

That’s more like it. Ho bloody ho. Merry whatever to all.
