Charges against a man accused of posting tweets likely to stir up racial hatred have been dropped, Scotland Yard has said.
Police charged Matthew Doyle, 46, with a public order offence on Friday amid allegations that he tweeted about confronting a Muslim woman to ask her to “explain Brussels”.
But officers admitted later the same day that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) disagreed with their decision, adding that they did not have the legal power to bring the charges in the first place.
There is so much wrong here, that it is difficult to know where to start. Firstly, there is the freedom of speech principle. Did this man cause anyone actual harm? No? Then he should have been left alone – the Twitter storm from the righteous was more than enough blow-back for his stupidity. That anyone, anywhere, thought that arresting him and charging him for uttering words is a disgrace. In the wake of the recent attacks, what we need to be doing is asserting our freedoms, for it is our freedoms that the Islamic nut-jobs hate. That they are trying to destroy; because it is freedom and tolerance that makes us better than them – and we are better than them. Good God, a dog turd on the pavement is better than them. And the cretins in Westminster and in blue uniforms who are lining up to comply with the Jihadis reign of terror, like the nice little dhimmis that they are, they, too, are the enemies of liberty and of the people of this country, for they are part of the problem.
When faced with terror, the appropriate response is two fingers defiantly in the air and carry on. You do not cower, you do not censor your thoughts for fear of causing offence and you do not arrest people for saying or writing words that someone, somewhere might not like. If they complain, tell them to grow a pair and get over themselves. Believing in some silly supernatural creature does not mean that your sensitivities need special consideration.
But, on top of all of this, is the sheer arrogant incompetence of the police force in not realising that they do not have the legal powers to charge under the act. What needs to happen now is legal and disciplinary action hammered home good and hard to make the point.

The point being that when you are scrubbing up after one of those “landmines”, you can console yourself with the knowledge that a least you are clearing away something that is culturally superior to an Islamic nut-job. By my definition, anyone who believes that a god would choose an evil, murdering, slave owning, slave trading, thieving, raping, pedophilic shit like Mohammad to be his (or her) special messenger is an Islamic nut-job. A cult born out of devotion to such a god would clearly be a satanic cult, and by the actions of its followers, that is precisely what we see Islam to be.

I doubt they cared about anything other than his use as a propaganda tool.
Soon they want all potential recruits to have a degree, that will be frightening, they will lack even more common sense and sound judgement than they do already.
In Queensland all filth must have a degree, but they can get a degree in Police Studies which is designed to ensure the thick shits who want to become coppers can pass.
