Stressed?

Well, yes, I suppose I was

Three in four Britons have been so stressed at least once over the last year that they have felt overwhelmed or unable to cope, according to the biggest survey into the impact of stress.

A year ago tomorrow, my bike was stolen, causing me to cancel work and source another to replace it in the short-term. A week later, Mrs L was diagnosed with terminal cancer and we lived with that decline for nine months, her demise coming in February of this year. Today, on what would have been our thirtieth wedding anniversary, we are interring her ashes. In the meantime, following her death, I promised myself I would take it easy. Ha! I am more busy than ever, trying to juggle an already fairly busy diary with buying out a business. I don’t know whether I am coming or going

So, yes, stressed.

  1. Gotta love the numbers when ‘our survey says whatever our agenda requires’, usually an increase in funding.

The survey results are significant because of the large number of participants – 4,619 adults

  2. Won’t someone PLEASE create a safe place with colouring books, crayons, and cuddly unicorns for these poor people. I don’t know how they manage to get through the day …
