A Labour activist called round yesterday as I was trying to rearrange my garage to fit in bike number three. I’m trying to squeeze a quart into a pint pot here and no, I’ll not fit in a fourth…
Anyway, said activist walked up to the garage door as I was wheeling the Z900RS about to try to fit it into a space that it wouldn’t despite my optimism.
“I wonder if we can rely on your support?” He asked.
“No,” I said, looking up briefly, while wondering if the Kwaker would move just an incy bit closer to the bicycles and the shelving while still allowing me space to get to the freezer.
“Why is that?”
Now, I was well happy to give him a list if he liked. I Started by pointing out that they were too far to the left…
“Okay,” he said and walked away.
These activists do give up rather easily, don’t they?
Perhaps he was a new ploy – the inactivist. I’ll leave it to others to expand on how that might work!
Hmmm, I used to canvass support for the Labour party many moons ago and yes, he/she does seem to have given up easily. The obvious answer to your too far left comment would be along the lines of, “ours is a centrist local party and with your support we can retake the party with more centrists blah blah blah….” It really did not matter what porkies get told…votes are what matter..lol.
Given that I used to be a member, I know that doesn’t work, so he would have wasted his time on that one.
Lol, you gotta try though…
Hmm, rather too polite. I would have said “No, you’re a racist, anti-Semitic, murdering terrorist supporting and communist fascist party”
When a single digit age? Well done for breaking free.

Luckily, we don’t get these tiresome idiots wandering around in leafy Kent.
We do, however, get yobbos with sob stories and a bag of useless crap to try and flog as ‘pedlers’
They’re told to ‘****’ off as well.
