How To Be Proved Right

Carl Benjamin is standing as a Ukip MEP for the upcoming EU elections. As was to be expected, his candidacy was met with hostility from the usual suspects. What was interesting however, was his robust approach to the press. Much like Trump, he refused to play their game. Indeed, he called them outright dirty, dirty smear merchants.

This is merely an observation of fact, because that is what the press do – lie and smear.

So how did the press react to this? Er, they engaged in a smear campaign…

He should sue as it is libel. He should also take action against Wiltshire Police for handing out his phone number. However, if nothing else, the point is made. But, then, I’ve known for decades that you cannot rely on the press. I recall some twenty years ago one of my colleagues finding herself involved in an exposé in the Sun. I no longer recall the exact details, only that it devastated her – because as is usual, it was full of the lies that you would expect. Whenever my area of expertise is discussed by these people, they always get it wrong.

So, yeah, how readily they are caught in the act. The press really are dirty, dirty smear merchants. Scum, the lot of them.

  1. Yep. He should sue and sue hard.
Both the media corporations and more importantly, the individual “reporters”. Go for them mercilessly. As much as possible ruin them.
    Teach the c**ts a lesson.
