Following on from yesterday’s comments regarding the media indulging in smear campaigns, we get this.

A TOP Ukip candidate said it was OK to abuse “young boys” in a sick YouTube rant, it emerged today.

Carl Benjamin suggested there was nothing wrong with the sexual abuse of children, adding: “It’s not as controversial as you think.”

Except of course if the “journalist” had done a little research, then it would become apparent that there was nothing to see here. Each of these “shocking” exposés of Benjamin’s comments have been taken out of context – much like Count Dunkula and the Nazi pug. Each has been presented to create as much faux outrage as possible. And each is demonstrating Benjamin’s point about the Fake News Media – they really are, dirty, dirty, smear merchants. They seem obsessed with proving his point over and over.

Keep it up folks – for you are providing him with free publicity and the millions of people who have viewed his videos can see for themselves what you are doing. Each smear is increasing his prospects of election. Well done.

The candidate – who previously joked about raping a female MP (He didn’t, you moronic twat – Ed) – is now being investigated by the police over his twisted comments.

And that tells us what is so wrong with our society today – where something someone said is worthy of police investigation. Benjamin is a free speech absolutist. As am I. Unless it is incitement to violence of libel, then anything should be allowed – yes, even telling someone that you wouldn’t rape them. Offending someone is not and should never be a reason to censor, no matter how outrageous the statement.

Indeed, a recent video by Benjamin hits all of the soft targets in a matter of a couple of minutes. Doubtless it will offend the usual suspects. But as any rational person can see – he is doing it for effect. These people accuse him of trolling, so trolling is exactly what he is doing here.
Whether he wins or loses – or even if the election doesn’t happen, Carl Benjamin has ruffled all the right feathers here.

The article that the Sun refers to contains outright libel.

The dossier also includes a screenshot of a social media message in which Benjamin says he needs ‘something to really trigger’ outrage, adding: ‘Do you have any underage porn or child porn? I will delete it fast so nobody gets in trouble.’

The unnamed recipient responds: ‘Dude, what the f***?’

This was a fake (a fairly easy thing to do for those so inclined – as Tommy Robinson demonstrated in his Panodrama documentary. In that case, the BBC gleefully homed  in on it without doing any fact checking either). Indeed, it only takes a matter of moments to find the video where Benjamin reveals it as such as he comments on Jack Dorsey’s failure to respond to his complaint about the matter. So, both the Mail and the Sun have engaged in libel and have failed to do the most basic fact checking before rushing to publication. Well, there’s a surprise…

Journalists are nothing more than scummy smear merchants.

  1. Did you see the piece in the Wail, stating that Carl is a Paedo? Now Carl’s “talking to his lawyer” I bet the Wail’s legal department are having several large litters of kittens right now.

    • That piece was outright libel. The quote was stitched together from separate out of context comments on different live streams. Fucking outrageous behaviour. This deserves punitive damages.
