Ouch!

There’s a timely article in the Groan about scammers making the most of the HMRC deadline for tax returns.

It’s the usual warnings and horror stories of people who have fallen for these things. And the usual warning applies – HMRC never call you out of the blue and demand money or ask for sensitive details – likewise email and text.

No, what had me giggling was one of the comments.

If it’s any consolation, any money you pay to these fraudsters is probably out to better use than if you’d paid it to HMRC.
