You may be right there.
There was a time when it was universally understood that free speech and a free press were essential if we want to maintain a free society. It seems that there are many in the supposedly free world who no longer understand this. Most of our media no longer do the job of holding politicians and governments to account anyway, just meekly parroting government propaganda. Is this affair not front page news all over Canada? If not, why isn’t it?
