I’m With Trump

I don’t find Sacha Baron Cohen funny either.

Sacha Baron Cohen said the feeling was mutual after President Trump said that he didn’t find the comedian funny after scenes from his new Borat movie posed security questions for the White House.

While aboard Air Force One Friday night, Trump was asked if he had seen the Borat sequel scene that showed Rudy Giuliani in what appeared to be a compromising position with one of the movie’s actors and about whether he had any concerns about White House security breaches.

As part of his response, Trump said ‘I don’t find him [Cohen] funny’ and added ‘To me, he’s a creep.’

Trump’s assessment of this dire little man is spot on. Unfunny, tedious and, yes, I agree, a creep. Pretty much par for the course with modern lefty comedians then… About as funny as a dose of Ebola.

  1. Sasha Baron Cohen is also a hypocrite when it comes to censorship because he thinks that his (money making) antics should be free from censorship, but those of his opponents and those who question the beliefs (both religious and political) of his tribe MUST be censored.

    How about no?

    • His antics are the worst type of comedy. And I use the term comedy loosely. Much like the candid camera programmes, they rely on cheap laughs by trapping unwitting victims. This is foul behaviour.

      • Pretty much. I put it all in the same category of crass behaviour as the Russell Brand / Johnathon Ross thing where they prank called Andrew Sachs about having had sex with his granddaughter.

That ain’t comedy, nor is the garbage put out by Sasha Baron Cohen, it is the lowest form of grotesque degradation of others pretending to be humour. It doesn’t even have the mild redemption of raising an occassional smirk, it is just appalling levels of “cringe” through-and-through.

You ARE describing D J Trunp, are you not?

          • DJ Trunp? I bought his last album, but it was very disappointing.

Funny how Baron Cohen’s breakthrough creation, Ali G, doesn’t seem to get much airtime anymore. Do people not want to see a Cambridge-educated Jew pretending to be a working class black man? I can’t imagine why.

The idea behind Borat, using that hapless character to get behind the PR-driven surfaces of the world, is an ingenious one. Yet Baron Cohen isn’t now clever enough to be politically even-handed (as he may once have been in the Ali G days), in order to let the comedy take precedence over the ideology. Attacking Donald Trump! How novel and hilarious! Yawn…zzz….

  2. I thought you were supposed to be intelligent…
    And you like cats
Trunp is the sort of person who would deliberately run a cat over
