When are we going to say No?

The teacher in the Batley blasphemy row is in hiding. His head teacher has thrown him to the wolves and he fears for his life. And yet there have been no arrests and no robust response from our government that medieval blasphemy laws do not apply in this country and that such intimidation has no place in a civilised society. If ever there was a clear demonstration that Islam is incompatible with civilised society, this is it. A bunch of men who have nothing to do with the school, weren’t in the lesson and never saw the images engaging in proxy offence.

It’s time that our government stood up for our culture and principles and responded to these vile bullies in a firm, robust manner and told them to either suck it up or piss off somewhere more to their liking. We are under no obligation to pander to their belief systems whatsoever.

Snowdon Mosque chairman Akooji Badat said: ‘We’re working together with the parents and the teacher, and the school have been kind to all the sectors by suspending the teacher so there’s no real cause for a peaceful protest outside the school.

There is no need to cooperate with these people at all. There was certainly no need to suspend him. Islamic blasphemy laws do not apply to us.

‘The school has done its job and cooperated well with us.’

Translation: The head teacher is a craven coward who caved at the first sign of trouble. The problem with appeasing bullies is that they come back for more.

Speaking ‘on behalf of the Muslim community’, one protester said: ‘The teachers have breached the position of trust and failed their duty of safeguarding, and this issue must be addressed as a matter of urgency.’

Bollocks. There is nothing that needs addressing, urgently or otherwise – apart from removing the mob outside the school and reinstating the teacher with immediate effect and issuing a statement supporting him unconditionally. What needs to happen is a sharp retort explaining to these people how to take the sex and travel option. This is Britain. British values and customs apply. Don’t like it? Well go somewhere that operates an Islamic theocracy. Otherwise, keep your horrible religion to yourselves.

‘From the majority Muslim community perspective it’s safe to say that showing images of the Prophet Muhammad would not be considered a ‘right’, but at best disrespectful, and at worst a provocation,’ she said.

‘For some pious Muslims, it’s so hurtful to the point of going beyond the realm of common decency – I know that’s hard for a Western liberal mindset to understand.

Oh, we understand all too well. We went through all this in the middle ages with the Catholic church. As for respect, Islam does not deserve respect. I despise it and everything it stands for. It is a contemptible belief system that thrives on intolerance, violence and ultimately murder.

Prove me wrong.

  1. “It is a contemptible belief system that thrives on intolerance, violence and ultimately murder.”

You forgot “and shagging toddlers and animals”.

  2. Will the Batley Townswomen’s Guild stage a re-enactment of the protest? Perhaps they’re currently busy with a re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo or something.

    • Yep, I reckon so. They breed far better than we do anyway, particularly when they have a generous benefit system to exploit and free health care.

Always found it really odd that the white Western world really was the only culture to embrace contraception and free love, thus reducing birthrates.

Almost like there’s some agenda to repopulate.

  3. Why do we put up with tolerating these arseholes telling us what to do ? Islam is a shite religion and is well deserving of lampooning.

  4. Considering the lack of support from the authorities, it is quite understandable for the school staff to roll over. The only thing that would work would be violence, as with all bullies, but that’s not going to happen.

Just goes to show what an utter twat Doris is. Let’s not forget this happens under his watch.
