And You Can Take a Hike

Jesse Jackson presumes to lecture us on racism.

Civil rights leader the Reverend Jesse Jackson has today weighed into the UK’s debate on race, by saying that Britain is the ‘mother of racism’.

The influential American, 79, said Britain must face up to its role in slavery, as he flatly rejected the findings of the recent report into race and racism in the UK.

Not only did the UK abolish slavery before the USA, we spent time, effort, lives and money eradicating the transatlantic trade. America is the country (and the Democrats the party) of Jim Crow and the KKK, not the UK, so Jackson can keep his nose out of it as it is none of his business.

  1. Virtually all black people in the UK immigrated here voluntary, because they knew the UK was a great place to live. The likes of Jackson don’t grasp that key difference with the US.

Jesse Jackson made the antisemite Louis Farrakhan famous, and, though he pretended to denounce him while running for President, has supported him since. He even went so far as to endorse Farrakhan’s attempt to enter our country to spread his bile.

Jackson supports racism. He has no room to talk.

  2. It struck me the other day (I don’t know why not before) that you never hear Chinese immigrants moaning about racism or “Muh rights”. Perhaps bloody grateful to have escaped from China.

  3. Another ugly truth the race-baiters ignore- the average black person living in the UK or USA has a much better standard of living and quality of life than one still in Africa…

  4. In this country I think we are very lucky.
In my own experience, in Scotland, we have got a nice bunch of people originating as Chinese, Indian, Pakistani, South East Asians, Poles and the rest of Europe, Africans, West Indians. Many remnants of conflicts.
American Negoes, as they were then called, were delighted when they were posted here, UK, during the war. Many hooked up with, even married local girls. Dispite, or maybe to spite, their superior officers the locals made them very welcome.
In the 50s and 60s UK took to the music of coloured USA, when in his own country Elvis was reviled because on the radio he sounded black.
Now, religious bigotry was a totally different matter. Sadly.

  5. If Britain is such a desperately bad place for dusky folk, how come so many thousands are still massing around Calais, willing to risk their lives under trucks or in dodgy boats, just to get to this allegedly racist hell-hole? I suggest they’re voting with their feet, the woke-brigade are simply in denial of the facts, as usual.

  6. Whatever the truth of history, it is entirely irrelevant to this report which is solely concerned with the UK now.

  7. I don’t suppose that Jackson, in his so called sermons and speeches, has ever mentioned that the African victims of slavery were actually enslaved by other black Africans, probably through tribal or land disputes. They were then sold on to other slavers, who were usually other black people. His version of history is based on his own hatred and bigotry, plus the fact that these tunnel visioned, single issue focused rants have made him a multi-millionaire. I suppose he feels it’s better than contributing to society.

Spot on, Left always prefers diversion down rabbit hole to distract from truth

    Rebuttal off race baiter Jackson

Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson has labelled Britain as the “mother country of racism” following the Race Commission’s review into ethnic disparities.

Dr Remi Adekoya, author and lecturer in politics, spoke to Julia Hartley-Brewer on talkRADIO, saying: “White people do not have the monopoly on evil.”

FFS Julia stop prefixing every unpleasant thing with “horrific”

  9. A bit late at night but almost not drunk. Why are these “outraged at British racist bastards” so keen to live here?

  10. This report really has touched a nerve hasn’t it? All the usual suspects outraged at it being pointed out that reality doesn’t agree with their narrative. As you say, we were well on the way to making racism a thing of the past until these repellant people started stirring it up again. An American calling the UK racist, a preacher in a glass cathedral throwing rocks.

  11. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, two of America’s biggest charlatans and race baiters. Use the title Reverend yet are more political leaders rather than religious ones. Have made a fortune with all their scams.
