Here We Go Again

This will never stop unless we all refuse to comply. They have had a taste of power and they don’t want to give it up.

A scientist has warned Brits could face a “pretty miserable winter” with further lockdowns on the cards but we could be back to “business as usual” next year.

Professor Calum Semple, member of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage), which advises the Government, said that children and elderly people will be vulnerable to endemic viruses towards the end of the year.

This is because social distancing as reduced everyone’s exposure to the usual endemic respiratory viruses so there could be a rise in bronchiolitis, and a rise in community acquired pneumonia in children and in the frail elderly.

Professor Semple called it the “fourth wave winter” but added it would be much milder than the previous ones.

How many flu waves have we had? Endemic means that it is with us now forever, so had better get used to it. It does not mean that we need to lockdown. Has this cretin not been paying attention to what has happened across the globe? Those countries and states that locked down fared no better than those that didn’t – except those that didn’t still have functioning economies and avoided massive debt. If we have a miserable winter it will be because of people like Semple pressing for more restrictions. As for the effects of antisocial distancing, I’ve not seen anyone take this nonsense seriously – at least not since the first outbreak. By the time we hit autumn, people were mixing pretty normally – and that’s apart from the demonstrations that occurred last summer and more recently the football fans gathering in London this past week.

Not one of the idiotic rules thought up by SAGE and the government has any basis in science. They are all just made up, arbitrary nonsense in the line of something must be done, this is something so we will do it. You might just as well buy a magic charm to ward off evil spirits from your local witch doctor. It will be just as effective.

One final point – Semple acknowledges that the next wave will be milder. Yes, that’s what happens when a disease becomes endemic and subject to normal evolutionary pressure – just as happened to all those that went before it. We do not lock down, wear stupid, useless masks or antisocially distance because of seasonal flu, nor should we for this. What we should be doing is carrying on as normal.

  1. Is this twat saying that social distancing has actually made things worse…? I think he does. For the state’s hammer, everything has to be a nail.

Meanwhile in Hungary, it seems that things are back to normal if the images from the football Saturday are anything to go by. The UK should be ashamed.

  2. ” Semple acknowledges that the next wave will be milder. Yes, that’s what happens when a disease becomes endemic and subject to normal evolutionary pressure – just as happened to all those that went before it.”

Except this one won’t be like every one that has gone before it will it? We have ‘vaccinated’ everyone (or will have soon) with a treatment that (hopefully) reduces the severity of the illness, but doesn’t stop people catching it, or passing it on. Thus allowing more lethal variants to continue circulating, rather than being outcompeted by less severe ones. We are now slap bang in the middle of a massive medical experiment – what happens when you vaccinate everyone with a leaky vaccine in the middle of a global pandemic?

I fully expect that more virulent strains of covid will start turning up as time goes by, as we have reversed the usual evolutionary process that takes place. We are only 6 months into this experiment in viral evolution, lets see how things look in 10 years time, especially if we keep jabbing everyone with ‘vaccines’ once a year.

  3. Enough is enough. Mass non compliance is all that will free us from these idiot so called scientists.

    • We need the likes of Reginald FitzUrse, William de Tracy, Hugh de Morville and Richard le Bret to rid us of these turbulent scientists.

  4. What is the point of having a collective group of medical minds who consider all the information and then come to a joint opinion if individual members are then going to ply their individual grievances to the press in the manner that this bloke has?

      • A significant number have neither scientific nor medical expertise. They are behavioral psychologists, which means they are manipulative scum who use gaslighting as a professional tool.

  5. I drove past a poster today that stated that getting vaccinated will protect other people. I didn’t have time to check whether this was official government propaganda. Are they misinformed or lying?

    • Vaccination doesn’t even prevent you from catching it, but it does seem to reduce symptoms and risk of hospitalisation.

So for at risk individuals it is worth while.

Defo not for children except in truly exceptional circs.

What they are trying to do is worthy of Mengele.

  6. Walked through Beverley today, still a lot of bedwetters out there I’m sorry to say. Wearing masks outdoors when they’re nowhere near anyone else. Outside Tesco they are all frantically spraying their trolleys and rubbing on hand sanitizer. Last thing I heard there were eleven thousand Covid cases nationwide, can’t be too careful if you might meet one of those infected people can you?

    • And most of those are in Cornwall following the G7 summit and London following the England-Scotland game…….points awarded for spotting the correlation.

  7. Dear Mr Longrider

“Yes, that’s what happens when a disease becomes endemic and subject to normal evolutionary pressure –”

Except that this disease isn’t subject to normal evolutionary pressure. It is subject to human interference in the form of mass vaccination which may lead to more virulent strains becoming endemic, requiring continued vaccination until we have a human Marek’s disease. I am surprised he hasn’t noticed that, being a Professor of virology an’ all.

  8. Well, I think we’ve known for long enough that post Covid (if that is ever allowed) there will be climate lockdowns, flight bans, an attempted clamp down on eating meat and the elimination of cash.

Guys, bring me my bow of burning gold, bring me my arrows of desire, bring me my spear oh clouds unfold, I shall not cease from mental fight, nor shall my sword sleep in my hand, until these sage fuckers are strung high above some dark satanic mill.

  9. Professor Calum Semple, member of Sage, says this is because social distancing has reduced everyone’s exposure to the usual endemic respiratory viruses so there could be a rise in bronchiolitis, and a rise in community acquired pneumonia in children and in the frail elderly.

Semple is correct and Lockdown opponents predicted this would happen over a year ago. This was then confirmed by surge in ‘summer flu’, colds etc last summer on reopening.

Same is happening again this year: Flu / Pneumonia deaths now over x10 more than Covid-19 (Despite face masks)

Lockdowns, ‘Social Distancing’, masks, obsessive cleaning & disinfecting cause more harm than good

    As do the “vaccines”:

Add on life-long harms: blind, paralysed, heart damage…

    @Jim
Vaccination during a Pan or Epidemic has always been deemed contra-indicated due to risk of autoimmune disease and also antibody dependent enhancement

Once again, like lockdowns, rules were thrown out the window
