Idiots

The scaremongering is being ramped up again.

England faces an even worse spike in Covid cases than Scotland when children return to schools, top scientists warned today.

Infections have already spiralled to record highs north of the border, with the uptick blamed on the reopening of classrooms following the summer holidays.

And now there are fears England — which has higher background rates of Covid than Scotland did — could be hit even harder, with millions of schoolchildren set to go back later this week.

As we have already discovered, “cases” isn’t the same thing as people being ill. What matters is how many people get seriously ill and die as a consequence. This has been low for a long time. Even at the peak, it was low when taken into context and given that organisations such as PHE were engaging in outright fraud when reporting causes of death.

But, we can’t have people carrying on like normal.

Teaching unions are furious social distancing restrictions such as mask-wearing have been dropped in England, which experts have branded a ‘recipe for disaster’ — but Scotland is keeping them until the end of September.

None of those restrictions make a blind bit of difference. Despite frantic attempts to justify mask wearing, there is no evidence that doing so stops the spread of an airborne pathogen – indeed, despite the mandate last year we experienced an entirely predictable increase in infections as we entered the winter, just as we get an entirely predictable increase in flu infections every winter. Much like all the other knee-jerk measures, it is a waste of time, so do without them. But still we see people clinging to the idea in much the same way that our ancestors clung to the idea of a magic talisman bought from the local shamen could keep away evil spirits. This is not science, it is superstition.

As you read through the article the words disaster and disastrous are repeated ad nauseum. This is now endemic. We will get upticks every winter. People will get it and some will die either directly from it or as a consequence of underlying pathology. A disaster is highly unlikely and if there is one, it will be as a consequence of interference by politicians and so-called experts.

How long before their screeching is roundly ignored? Are we finally reaching that point where the constant wailing about disaster has reached a point where no one takes any notice any more? It really is time we treated these people with the same level of contempt that we treat the nutter in the sandwich board at the local shopping centre crying out about the end being nigh.

  1. The interesting thing is that they refuse to make the link with the “vaccinations” and the increase in cases. It’s a seasonal infection but somehow it peaked in July this year, much later than last year. They also never mention the proportion of vaccinated vs non vaccinated when a large proportion of the former gets covid right after their injections…

  2. The daftest thing I’ve seen was at the gym. On the poolside they have a sanitising station so that they can sanitise the kidiewinks as they arrive for swimming lessons. This before fully immersing them in chlorinated water.

  3. On the positive, the incessant disaster-mongering by the Branch-Covidians seems to be innoculating the population against the disaster-mongering of the Gretards.

Ecoloon: “The sky is going to fall off a cliff and crash into a Greenhouse, and we’re all going to die!”
Public: “I’ve heard that one. Endlessly, for 20 years. The gerbils get too warm, or something. Piss off, I’m flying away on holiday just as soon as I’ve refilled the tank on my car with diesel”.

NB According to Met Office, this has been the hottest summer in England evah.

  4. The problem with the current fear mongering is down to perverse incentives. These experts are onto a nice little earner as long as the current crisis continues, obviously they want to keep it on the boil as long as possible. The problem is that it doesn’t seem to be obvious to everyone.

The problem is that turning the hype up to 11 is all well and good, but at some point in the past it simply because noise, because it never changed, nor ended, simply continues forever-and-ever unabated. Neighbourhood car alarms used to go off intermittently during the night, at first you might get up and see if anyone is breaking into, but after false alarms time and again, people just pull the pillow over their ears and go back to sleep. Same applies to Warble Gloaming and the Chyna Bat Koof. If flipper were boiling in the dregs of the last ice floe or they were burying the dead in huge pits because the undertakers couldn’t cope, I might (but only might) have some genuine concern, but when every prediction becomes a damp squib (if anything happens at all) or the entirety of efforts to combat these problems are ignored or deemed “Not good enough”, then, they can just phuq off.

The more they put Greta the Swedish retard, Tony Bliar or Lockdown lothario Professor Neil Ferguson on the front of the newspapers or Auntie Beeb, the more people will refuse to buy their manufactured alarm. I am simply no longer interested in their overhyped bullshit.

  6. This nonsense is from the US.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Safety measures that were taken during the pandemic like masking, social distancing, and lockdowns, caused last year’s flu season to be the mildest on record.

Experts say it’s proof that masks work.

Leaving aside the obvious point that just about every case of ordinary flu will have been recorded as Covid, flu seasons vary naturally and correlation doesn’t prove causation. So these experts aren’t very expert if they don’t even know the basics are they?

  7. Does anyone who uses the term “spiral” know what a spiral is?
When something is spiralling, is it spiralling out to infinity, or is it spiralling in to disappear up its own rectum?
Please give us back the English language, almost literally, but incredibly.

  8. Have you seen the stuff that is going on in Australia? Some areas appear to be going full on Orwellian. The part that interests me is seeing if, in the long term, this shit will do them any good. I suspect that it won’t.
