John Bercow is a ‘serial bully’ who subjected his staff to violent temper tantrums and scathing verbal abuse in a campaign of terror during his time as Commons Speaker, a damning report revealed today.
The former parliamentary referee – known for theatrically shouting ‘order’ to silence rowdy MPs – faces being banned from Parliament over a catalogue of appalling behaviour.
This isn’t really news, but at least it is now out in he open. This obnoxious, poisonous little man is finally shown for what he is. And this is a good thing.
He now faces being blocked from holding a Commons pass usually given to ex-politicians.
Couldn’t happen to a better bloke. Oh the ignominy, so well deserved. It isn’t often I gloat at the downfall of someone, but I am allowing myself a pass this time. This man deserves to fall and fall hard for what he did to our parliament. Personally, I’d like to see him selling the Big Issue on the streets outside Westmonster, but that’s just a fantasy. Horrible, horrible little man.

I generally try not to wish people ill, even if they clearly deserve it. After all wishing people ill is far more likely to hurt me than them. However I do smirk quietly when Karma comes around.
Likewise. Some people are so goddamned awful, you can’t help but enjoy a bit of schadenfreude when they tumble.
Who voted for him? Did they feel sorry for him? At least we are spared the sight of him sitting on his booster cushion in the Other Place.
Truly the biased British TV satirical programmes missed a sure fire winner when they unanimously decided to ignore this gift from the comedy gods.

Having now retired from a career in the public sector I can assure you that such people are common. If you complain you will find yourself all the more a target so you shut up and try to live with it.
This Brexit traitor deserves all the scorn he is getting.
Bullying can be a matter of perception, my ‘firm management’ may be your ‘bullying’. However, the festering toad Bercow was also labelled a ‘serial liar’, which is not about perception, it is about facts – that condemns him far more than any subjective opinion on his management style.
The piles of ordure being heaped on the inadequate tosser can’t be enough, make sure he’s buried so deeply in it that we’ll never have to encounter him again before his funeral.
A peculiarly unpleasant man who some years ago completed an epic journey from being a nasty right wing squirt to being a nastier left wing squirt. It turns out he was even more ghastly than I knew.
