Lazy Transphobia

Ah, so transphobia is now lazy. I don’t know how something that doesn’t exist can be lazy, but there you are.

Olympic medallist Sharron Davies has accused a Labour MP of ‘abandoning’ women’s rights after she defended a transgender swimmer.

Former women’s and equalities spokesman Charlotte Nichols said it was ‘lazy transphobia’ to criticise Lia Thomas who became the first transgender athlete to win a US college championship.

Well, if we needed one, another reason not to vote Labour.

Lia Thomas is a man. He has XY chromosomes, he went through male puberty, he has male skeletal structure and has male reproductive organs. Therefore, he is male and having gone through that male puberty, he has a physical advantage over the women against whom he competes. This is a matter of objective fact. As is the definition of a woman – an adult human female, someone who has XX chromosomes, female skeletal structure, large gametes and has reproductive organs designed to carry to term a human foetus. All of this stuff should, in a sensible world, be uncontroversial, yet we have idiots such as Nichols going along with this idea that a man can simply identify as a woman and he therefore becomes one. But, then, her party leader is incapable of defining what a woman is, so I suppose this idiocy is the least that we can expect.

There is no such thing as transphobia. It is a soviet style construct; a fake mental illness with which to silence dissent. A phobia is a clinical condition. Disagreeing with trans ideology and stating biological facts is not a phobia and never will be.

As for Lia Thomas, he is a cheat who has not earned the medals that he has acquired though his cheating. That he has been booed when winning competitions suggests that I am not alone in saying this. He is not stunning and brave, he is a cowardly cheat who was unable to make it in the men’s sport.
