It’s Still A Pussy

The owl and the pussy cat went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat. Not any more they won’t.

For more than 150 years, children have been captivated by the tale of The Owl And The Pussy-Cat and their adventures in a ‘beautiful pea-green boat’.

But now trans rights campaigners have renamed Edward Lear’s famous poem, saying the word ‘pussy’ now has ‘linguistic connotations’ that did not apply when it was written in 1871.

Rebranded The Owl And The Kitty-Cat, the poem forms the basis of a children’s tale called Peter’s Story, produced by the charity Gender Identity Research and Education Society (GIRES).

Aimed at seven-to-11-year-olds, the book details the central character Peter informing his teacher that one of his parents has transitioned to become a woman named Rosie.

George Orwell will be spinning in his grave – if he stopped from the last time that 1984 was used as an instruction manual. The way that these vile activists are stealing and perverting much loved English literature is evil and we need to claim it back. Not to mention their peddling sexuality to children.

So…

The Owl and the Pussy-Cat

I
The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea
   In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five-pound note.
The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
“O lovely Pussy! O Pussy, my love,
What a beautiful Pussy you are,
         You are,
         You are!
What a beautiful Pussy you are!”
II
Pussy said to the Owl, “You elegant fowl!
   How charmingly sweet you sing!
O let us be married! too long we have tarried:
But what shall we do for a ring?”
They sailed away, for a year and a day,
To the land where the Bong-Tree grows
And there in a wood a Piggy-wig stood
With a ring at the end of his nose,
             His nose,
             His nose,
With a ring at the end of his nose.
III
“Dear Pig, are you willing to sell for one shilling
Your ring?” Said the Piggy, “I will.”
So they took it away, and were married next day
By the Turkey who lives on the hill.
They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
   Which they ate with a runcible spoon;
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
             The moon,
             The moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.

And as for GIRES – go fuck yourselves.

    • For months, the UKHSA has been telling us that one possible reason for us seeing far fewer cases in the unvaccinated compared with the vaccinated is because the unvaccinated have natural immunity following high infection rates previously (presumably because the unvaccinated are reckless and didn’t follow lockdown rules – I imagine that they also ride motorcycles too quickly…

  2. Oh, just fuck off. The tranny brigade have lost the bloody plot. They really have. Now the word ‘pussycat’ is considered offensive or not “woke”. I despair.

Besides, ‘kitty’ is not a slang term we use in Britain for cats. They seem to use it in the US, but we don’t really use it here. In Britain, we tend to use ‘pussy’ or ‘moggy’ when referring to cats.

The week the trans spell was broken
It´s finally okay to say that gender extremism wears no clothes, writes Hadley Freeman

“Quite how it all started in the first place is a story for another day, although that story could well start in 2016 when Ruth Hunt – then the CEO of Stonewall, now in the House of Lords – admitted in a speech that Stonewall was having difficulty raising donations after gay marriage was legalised, as donors thought gay people were “all right now” ”
