Schadenfreude

And why not?

A prominent leader in the Black Lives Matter movement has been accused of stealing more than $10 million from the group in an explosive lawsuit filed by other organizers in the movement.

Shalomyah Bowers, a board member of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF), was accused of using the group as a ‘personal piggy bank’ in the suit filed in Thursday in Los Angeles.

The lawsuit filed by Black Lives Matter Grassroots (BLMGR) offers few specifics about the alleged theft of funds, but illuminates the growing fractures in the movement that took in more than $90 million in donations in 2020.

It was always a scam. It was blindingly obvious to anyone with common sense that this was a nasty movement designed to feed on discontent for the benefit of those running it. Well, now it seems those they robbed have woken up. Order in the popcorn, sit back and enjoy the bunfight.

  1. I envisage lots of footballers (and policemen) standing up and checking their pockets.

$10 million here, $10 million there, it soon adds up.

  2. The names of the cast of characters and the acronyms should be interesting.
With any luck the lawyers should bankrupt both parties.
Will it be streamed on the interweb. With subtitles.

  3. Reminds me of a hilarious headline I saw last year. I was rolling around with laughter.

“BLM Activist Sasha Johnson Headbutts Mostly Peaceful Bullet at London House Party”

  4. Since most of the racial problems that BLM was set up to address were either created by them or imaginary, it must have been a challenge to find things to spend the money on.
