All That is Wrong

I despise the creatures of the media. I utterly hate them with every fibre of my being. Journalists are the only lying scumbags that give me pause to like politicians a little bit, they are so completely despicable.

Dozens of media organisations from around the world have published a joint editorial article calling for a windfall tax on the biggest fossil fuel companies.

The funds raised should be redistributed to poorer, vulnerable countries, the editorial says, as they are suffering the worst impacts of the climate crisis despite having done the least to cause it.

Three things:

Firstly, we are not in a climate crisis. This is a big fat lie perpetuated by these very organisations.

Secondly, it is not the place of the media to be calling on anything. Their role is to report the news and nothing more. It is not to push an agenda. No one voted for them and they represent no one but themselves.

Thirdly, do I have to remind people once again about tax incidence? Obviously I do. Who will pay this tax? We all will, including the poorest.

Fucking idiots.

  1. How about a windfall tax on Big Pharma, and their (suddenly) billionaire high-heid-yins and use the money to help all those suffering. Both bereaved relatives, the sterile and those waiting to die from some induced frailty.
And don’t forget those SAGE pharma sock puppets, the Gubment “Scientific” advisors and statistical wizz-kids.
That would get a popular response.
Rather than rob energy companies who were incidental beneficiaries of government green and Russiaphobic clusterfuck policies.

  2. Should we not be also able to claim funds from those same countries for their acts in carelessly reproducing, so increasing the world’s population and thus causing the whole thing?
    No? Thought not.
The MSM are in cahoots with the leftist elites and the WEF. I know it’s hounds very ‘conspiracy theory’, but the evidence of these last 3 years is overwhelming.
