  1. Musk has certainly made some crass remarks in the past but poking labour and Starm-Fuhrer has been fun to watch – hope he keeps it up.

  2. I imagine that he’ll tell them the same thing he told Disney CEO Bob Iger, and certain advertisers who had tried to tell him how to run X if he wanted to keep their business. He told them, “go fuck yourself”.

  3. If politicians are concerned about disinformation or misinformation on X and wish to ban it then other politicians could reasonably argue the the BBC should be banned on the same grounds. Admittedly the BBC pump out Establishment disinformation or misinformation, so any reluctance to defund the BBC is merely partisan preference rather than high minded policy.

    The whole point of free speech is that it is free. Constrained speech is so Nineteen Eighty Four.

  4. Can’t extradite him as it has to be a crime in both places and Elon’s remarks, while annoying to the likes of Two Tier Kier and other Labour scumbags are perfectly acceptable under US law.

    Even banning Twitter/X in the UK would be problematic should Donald Trump win the election in November.

    Without it in Blighty we’d never see half the things that are really happening and without Community Notes we’d never have the chance to call out the liars.
    Of course Two Tier Keir and PC Trumpton are worried but the genie is out of the bottle and they’ll never get it back in.
    I for one am going to throughly enjoy the shitshow over the next five years with Musk as the Official Opposition in place of the lamentable and unelectable Tories.
    Reform UK will be the main beneficiary.

    As for Parliament demanding Musk appear before them and account for himself, maybe those numpties have never heard of the mice voting to bell the cat? They’ll have an equal chance of success …

    Unless and until “the powers that be” take note of the real and valid concerns of the population they are heading for a situation that they will neither like nor, possibly survive. At best they will have a situation throughout Britain like Northern Ireland during “The Troubles” (and still ongoing) but more likely much more like the breakup of Yugoslavia. Britain has an “Indian Community”, a “Muslim Community”, a “Pakistani Community”, a “Bangladeshi Community”, a “Sikh Community” (who hate the Muslims as the Muslims prey on their daughters as much as they prey on the white, British girls), a “Chinese Community”, a “Bulgarian and Romanian Community” etc. and so forth, none of them considering themselves British (unless it suits or benefits them to do so) and all are antagonistic towards each other. Once the very fragile glue that is temporarily holding them in check and/or law and order which is only applied to the native population is dissolved then Yugoslavia Mark 2 is on the cards.

    I hope and pray that it does not come to that but as Kipling wrote in The Wrath of the Awakened Saxon, it has been a slow build and not taught but it is definitely there. The politicians studying their Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) don’t look back at history and those that don’t study history are bound to repeat it (or undergo it) again. If they did, then they would realise that, unlike the tribal mentality of the “communities” with their “we’ve hit back, that’ll show them” and who then sit back and celebrate, think that violence is like the volume control on a TV and can be adjusted up or down. Whites, once they decide to act will see things through to the bitter end and that is an ending that they will not like. Whites treat things like a light switch. The options are “Do nothing” and “Kill them all, let God sort them out” and once the switch is flipped, will not stop until peace is obtained. See the Iceni rebellion, the battle of Omdurman, WW1, WW2 etc.
