May?

May  have overstatedMay!?!

Chief medical officer Chris Whitty has admitted that the government may have overstated the danger of Covid at the start of the pandemic.

Well, it’s a start, I suppose. However, they massively overstated it, destroyed our liberties and economy on the basis of their own panic and inability to follow through with a sensible, rational plan that was already in place. No may about it. They did. Big time and every one of the fuckers should be doing jail time including Half-Whitty.

  1. The big problem for everyone is that almost all Governments world wide succumbed to the panic and did the same stupid things. Here in New Zealand we had the same lockdowns and forced absences from places of work.At the moment the newish Government is trying to get the kids back into full time education against the opposition of the teaching unions who see no reason why they should have to earn their money.
It really makes me wonder how it is that we have gone from a nation prepared to fight and fight on against overwhelming odds, led by Churchill, to a nation whose Governments are not prepared to defend against a swarm of illegal immigrants in dinghies.

    • Re Johnd’s first sentence.

I think that Governments did not “succumb” to the covid panic. It is my belief that it was all planned for them to be so.

  2. If any of us plebs were as olympically crap at our jobs we’d be out on our arses pronto.
When it comes to state ‘experts’ politicians and assorted hangers-on its promotions rewards and gongs all round.
The whole bloody ship is holed and sinking rapidly.

  3. I really thought we’d seen the last of this miserable rodent. But, like malaria, he keeps popping up when you least expect it.
