Jolly Good

Start as you mean to go on.

Nigel Farage said Reform councillors are refusing to do training on climate change and diversity after the local elections surge.

Mr Farage declared that his troops would ignore instructions to get briefings ‘because we believe all people should be treated equally’.

The stance emerged as unions gear up to resist Reform’s vow of a DOGE-style cull of council staff engaged on DEI and Net Zero projects, as well as stopping people working from home.

And they are upsetting all the right people. Excellent. This is better than watching the lions at the coliseum.

  1. Again, I’m with Reform UK on this one. It’s high time someone had the balls to stand up to all that nonsense, rather than just playing along with it and thus giving it the oxygen of credibility which enables its further growth.

    • I’m with them, too. However, the sight of the Kent Invicta above the council building when I was growing up was quintessentially English. They goofed with that one and if they are backpedalling on it, then that’s good. Foreign flags and the dreadful non-flags of the hard left alphabet brigade should never see the light of day again. I’d also like to see them paint the rainbow pedestrian crossings back in the proper black and white. The fuck off to diversity training is just a start, hopefully.

  2. Reform’s surprisingly good performance suggests that many who voted Conservative in the GE may have seen the error of their ways. Some commenters were blaming Reform for Labour’s win. My take was that the blame lay with those who lacked the courage to vote for Reform and instead took the safe option and voted for the other cheek of the uni party arse because it was just slightly less awful.
