Left-wing protesters have dangled vile effigies along with the banner which reads ‘Hang the Tories’ off a bridge in Manchester ahead of the Conservative Party conference in the city.
Although, of course, it tells us much about the vile creatures that infest the left these days. Yes, yes, I know I have frequently referred to stringing up MPs, however, this is done with deliberate hyperbole. What we see here is just simply nasty for the sake of it. These people really do mean violence, for, given half the chance, violence is what they do.
The image of the two effigies hanging from nooses and wearing suits has been widely condemned on social media.
Okay, so will there be arrests and prosecutions for hate speech? I mean, this really does count as hate speech and it really does fall under incitement to violence, so, where are those arrests? What’s good for the goose and all that.
It comes amid a £2million security effort involving armed police to help avoid repeats of the horrendous scenes two years ago where Tory delegates and journalists had eggs thrown at them and were spat at.
Now here’s the thing… Did we see Tories protesting outside Labour or LibDem conferences? Nope. They let them get on with it without any interference and certainly without any violence.
Conservative MP Michael Fabricant tweeted a picture of the disgusting banner which was hung from a footbridge near Salford. He wrote: ‘What a charming welcome to Manchester and the Conservative Party Conference. These aren’t protesters, they’re fascists.’
Well, yes, they are. If nothing else, this little display shows them for what they are; nasty, violent thugs. The kind of people who, given the power operated Stalin’s death squads or manned the concentration camps. Vile, evil bullies, thuggish scum.
He later added: ‘And these people say they are “a Government in waiting”. Who will they hang next?’
Take your pick. Whoever they see as counter revolutionaries. You only have to look to history to see who they will execute given half the chance. They even executed Robespierre eventually – so no one is safe. Certainly not you or I. They are scum.
No, you misunderstand. It’s not a crime when the Lefties want to put someone in hospital or worse. It’s only a crime to say something that offends them. And that’s well, just about anything.
But as we saw with the outrage over Trump’s condemnation of violence from both sides in Charlottesville, there is violence and there is morally acceptable violence. This violence is morally acceptable because it is directed at people who hold centre right views on life, i.e. their views are not of the sanctified hard left. Even the centre left are legitimate targets because their views are not pure. Only a belief in the magic money tree and the complete control of every aspect of people’s lives, including their thoughts, is morally acceptable to these evil morons.
It’s a reminder if we needed one, that the left are at heart murderous. Eric Hobsbawm was open about mass murder being okay for the cause. The people who put this banner up are the kind of people who would have willingly murdered for Pol Pot, Mao or Stalin.
For once, I’m not going to suggest ‘If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em’….
Isn’t this one of the problems with being wrong? If you are wrong then there is no way to bring people around to your way of thinking by reasoned argument because they will just point out that you are wrong and how they know that you are wrong. Such nastiness is their only recourse.
Has anyone else given any thought to the Labour Party slogan “For the many not the few”? The only way that the many has ever achieved any decent level of prosperity is through free market capitalism. Under socialism on the other hand, the many continue to go without while the few who are running the show keep what little there is to themselves. Maybe a better slogan would be “Labour does the opposite to what it says on the tin”.
Another mystery is what the lefties have against the current crop of lefty Tories. The non existent “austerity” presumably.
The same violent thugs who kept on attacking Farage and indeed a female Labour MP who protested about a certain union and its Scottish nastiness. Only Tories can be thought criminals though.
