Rabbis, priests and imams have pleaded with Twitter to remove Donald Trump’s account.
A full 35 leaders have signed a letter, co-ordinated by the Interfaith Center of New York, to beg Twitter to remove Mr Trump’s account and stop him from being able to post messages to the tens of millions of people who follow him.
In doing so, they join other public figures including UK MPs to suggest that Twitter needs to delete the President’s account. And like those British lawmakers, the faith leaders suggest that the company is endangering the world by allowing his account to say around.
Oh, fuck off already. Okay, I despise Twitter for it is the last refuge of the airhead who thinks in 145 characters – or whatever it is now. However, it is up to them who they allow to use their platform, not a bunch of faith leaders. If they don’t like what the Donald says, well, they can ignore it. Or if they choose, refute it. What they do not have the right to do is to decide who may or may not speak, for that is not their concern. I suggest they go back to talking to their imaginary friend in the sky.
Yeah, well, it’s what these oh so tolerant people do isn’t it? You see, you have to have the “right” opinions, or you just don’t count, or you’re a bigot, or a racist, or whatever pejorative they can come up with.
They can stick it where the sun don’t shine.
Meanwhile in Cumbria more totalitarians elected and employed invoke god like status in ‘speaking for all’. Wankers. They who know ‘best’ utter, utter wankers.
