Good News

The vexatious litigation against Boris Johnson has been kicked out and quite right too.

Speaking outside the High Court, Mr Ball, who crowdfunded £200,000 to bring the private prosecution against Mr Johnson, said he would wait until the judges provided their reasons for throwing out the case before considering his next move.

Perhaps it was because it wasn’t a lie?

Expressing his disappointment, he said: “We have just given the green light for every politician to lie to us about our money forever. That is a terrifying idea.”

Except that it wasn’t a lie, you retard. And using the law to peddle your nasty anti-democratic politics is a new low, frankly. I hope the court award costs.

Asked if he had a message for Mr Johnson, Mr Ball, who devoted three years to his cause, said: “You don’t have the right to lie to the public about how their money is being spent.

“I would ask you, please, all members of Parliament, all elected representatives, understand: you cannot lie to the public about their money.”

It wasn’t a lie, you moron.

  1. Doesn’t matter if it was a lie, the court ruled that misconduct in public office is reserved for matters done in secret – ie shady deals done in secret, embezzlement etc, not public statements that are then subjected to political debate.

The biggest problem of all to arise out of this is how a district judge could be so ignorant of the law that they allowed the case to get this far rather than throwing it out straight off the bat. It just shows how many politically biased judges there are out there, and all biased in the same direction.

Incidentally one hopes someone in the police (and maybe HMRC) starts asking Mr Ball what he’s done with all the money and how it was all spent – his past suggests that some of it may have ‘disappeared’……

    • From what I can gather, he has his own bills as well as those incurred by Boris’s team (and Boris hires expensive).

These fall slap dab on the plaintiff and yes he has used a very large chunk on an apartment, plus gym membership, plus clothing and I do believe a break away from it all.

He’s a naive opportunist whom I suspect took his cue from Gina. She of course is fully funded. He’s now trying to get more suckers to go fund him.

I very much doubt they will. He was useful as a diversion – and he actually went into attack mode only part funded.

His only hope is for Boris to be more interested in his career aspirations and the fallout if he bankrupts the twit. If he fails as PM, I hope he gets mediaeval.

          • If he crowdfunded ostensibly to support a legal action against bellend Boris and he lost, cost could be construed as a legitimate thing to spend on perhaps.

But has he really spent this money on a flat, clothes etc purely for personal agrandisment?

Whatever the tax implications, surely that’s fraud, and one that would shame even an MP!

    • Exactly. The word send did not specify which money was being sent. We also send tariff costs, a percentage of VAT and other funding, therefore the amount we SEND, which will stop on exit, must actually be way over what the bus stated. Perhaps we need a campaign that states the actual total and sue Boris for underestimating.

  2. Boris is the thinking woman’s crumpet, looks cuddly and vulnerable but has an intelligent
    Mind.
All the women I know would like to muss up his hair. I won’t repeat what they would like to do to mr Ball.

  3. £200,000? Goodness me – I never realised it was so expensive to scrape the bottom of a barrel!
