So, yesterday we had a riot in which a mob of violent protesters stormed the Capitol building. Four people are dead. The narrative is fairly consistent across all news outlets.
Last summer, we had “mostly peaceful” protests during which private property was burned and looted and people were murdered.
This it seems was just fine, but yesterday wasn’t.
I know it’s an old adage, but if these people didn’t have double standards, they would have none at all.

Don’t think you can get off, though quite how this will all pan out is anyone’s guess.
Very odd times are ahead I fear.
And about 300 left wingers stormed the Capitol during those interminable Brett Kavanaugh hearings way back in the distant year of 2018. Then of course it was ‘brave’ and the ‘voice of democracy making itself heard’.
