Yeah, You Did

Cheat.

‘I haven’t cheated, I’ve not taken somebody’s prize money away’: Transgender athlete who ‘exploited loophole’ to finish ahead of 14,000 women in female category at London Marathon defends taking part as photos show her him competing as a man

He is still a man. And, yes, he did cheat.

Glenique Frank, 54, from Northamptonshire, said she he has not cheated but apologised for entering in the female category of Sunday’s mass race in London, crossing the line with a time of 4hr 11min 28sec.

During Frank’s gruelling 26.2-mile run in the 50-54 age bracket, the personal trainer said she he was ‘almost in tears’ at all the support she he received from women around the course.

But she he was the subject of criticism by Olympian Mara Yamauchi who hit out at organisers for allowing Frank to benefit from a ‘loophole’ at the London Marathon which allowed transgender athletes who had already signed up to keep their place.

The Olympian claimed it was ‘wrong and unfair’ to allow her him to compete in the female category and that other female runners had ‘suffered a worse finish position’ because of Frank.

Photos show Frank previously running in a number of charity events all while dressed as Batman, since transitioning she he started running as Batgirl.

So he ‘accidentally’ (I accidentally call bullshit – Ed) used a loophole and in the process deprived female athletes of their correct place in the running order. So, yes, he cheated. And, no, he is not a woman, and no, I will not refer to him as such, despite the lies in the media. My tolerance for this bullshit has long since evaporated. Trans athletes should register and compete as such, not steal places from women.

  1. Surely it would be pretty easy to amend the results by tapping a few keys and changing his status to male.

4:12 isn’t a particularly good time really. My best time as a 55-60 age grouper was about 4:20 and I was pretty mediocre, having taken up distance running only a couple of years earlier.

  2. Maybe the solution is to get real male champions to enter women’s events just to thwart the This-week-I-am-woman mediocre men.
Not ideal, but it would demonstrate the ridiculousness of it.
It has been done in Canada, weightlifter, I think.
Why should a bearded immigrant who identifies as a fourteen year old not compete in the under sixteen events?

    • what about the deranged lunatics who identify as children despite being fully-grown men? why can’t they compete in school sports days?

  3. “I identify as” is really just a way of saying “I pretend to be” really. Are there really so many people who can’t just be happy to be themselves?
