Lucy Letby was let off the hook by hospital bosses who “fell for her tears” because of her skin colour, claims a well-known activist.
Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamim, a women’s rights activist, suggested worrying reports about the serial killer would’ve been taken more seriously if Letby wasn’t white.
She wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Lucy Letby exemplifies how [the] ideology of Whiteness keeps Britain in a chokehold.
“They believed her tears/denials even though evidence said otherwise for no other reason than she’s White.
No tragedy is too horrific for these parasites to latch onto to peddle their vile race hatred. Never mind that there is zero evidence to substantiate her claims, she is going to make them anyway.
In other words, Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamim feels she should be taken seriously because she’s black. Ooops Black!!

Off topic to an extent but Julia Hartley-Brewer commented this morning that had there been a complaint that Letbe had misgendered someone she would probably have been removed from the ward immediately. That seems to me much more likely to be true than Dr Shola’s rancid observation. It is also pretty depressing.
Stonyground is, of course, quite right. I know of a case where a nurse at a famous London hospital was sacked because her performance was a danger to patients.
She was bountifully compensated because of her barrister’s robust defence of her position. Well, it wasn’t a defence actually, it was an attack. He just repeated one word for nearly an hour. Racism.
