Civil servants have threatened ministers with legal action over concerns that senior Home Office staff could be in breach of international law if they implement the government’s Rwanda deportation bill.
The role of the civil service is to enact government policy. Don’t like doing that? Resign.
Once again, we see this ‘international law’ bullshit. There is no such thing. It’s a made up phenomenon that some countries follow. No one else is obliged to obey this made up claptrap. So deporting people who have broken our laws is not in breach of the relevant law – ours. That’s it. This action exposes the uncivil service for the hard left partisan organisation that it is.
Always remember ‘Yes, Minister’ was not a comedy show, it was a training video.
