Toxic, Stupid Woman

Polly Toynbee.

All these sad stories of the stricken rich prove one thing: Labour’s budget is on the money

Bollocks. This budget didn’t go after the rich, because the very rich will simply move themselves and their wealth out of reach (and wisely so). What it did and deliberately so, was go after the middle earners, the small businesses and the self employed. In other words, it went after the productive people in the private sector who actually create wealth in this country, who will now be forced to fund inflation busting pay rises for the public sector. Toynbee,  like the woman who set this budget, is a nasty, spiteful, hateful harridan who despises the working people of this country.

Someone had to pay. Is this a “class”-based budget, the chancellor is asked on the BBC? No, it’s raising money urgently needed for the NHS and all public services. Someone has to pay, and if not the best-off, then who?

You see? It starts with bullshit from the off. No one has to pay. Slash and burn all the useless bloated bureaucracies. The NHS does not need more money. Every government since this monster was created has thrown ever more money at it and it still, like the cuckoo in the nest, demands more and more while those around are starved and we see ever more decline in output. Destroy the NHS, raze it to the ground, salt the earth where it stood and then build something that actually works for the benefit of those who use it and pay for it. Then, when you have slashed the public sector to a useful, manageable and affordable level, when you have sacked the layers and layers of useless, parasitic bureaucrats, then and only then, think about possible tax rises. But, if done properly, it would result in tax cuts.

Anyone who starts their argument with ‘more money for the NHS’ is a cultists who needs to be ignored.

  1. Toynbee, like most of the labour government, is an old has-been and never-were. It’s baffling how many of these people are like weed we can never get rid of.

    • It’s the gloating over the pain it will cause people – especially farmers. The Kulaks must be put down by whatever means. Vile, hateful spiteful evil woman. She exudes bitter hatred for anyone who has actually done something productive in their lives.

  2. Not only has Pol never run a business, but she’s never been close to anyone who has. I’ve never done it myself either, but my dad did and he had friends who did, so I recognise the problems and difficulties they face. I can put myself in their shoes. These Lefties who’ve been employees all their lives have no idea.

You knock yourself out trying to bring money in, and who has first dibs on it? The taxman. Your creditors, if you have any. Your staff. You’re right down at the end of the list, if there’s anything left at all by that point. I remember my dad complaining that his secretary often took home more than he did.

But nooo… to the likes of Toynbee, you’re rich. You can afford to pay more tax.

I honestly wonder why anyone in this country even bothers to start a business at all. Employing people is a mug’s game.

    • Apart from my time with Network Rail, most of my adult life, I’ve been self-employed. If I was to set up my own motorcycle training school (I’m too old and tired now, so a moot point) I would deliberately set up small and not take on any other instructors to keep the tax liability down, not least flying under the VAT radar.

  3. I have in my mind an island, a long way away, to which I have banished the people in public life who annoy me most and who I would prefer never to hear from again. Polly Toynbee is a long time resident; other residents, in no particular order, include Nicola Sturgeon, Alistair Campbell, Matt Hancock, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, Lord Deben and, it hardly needs to be said, John Bercow.

    • What a splendid idea. Oh, the wails and moans about the maltreatment, having to break into one’s own coconuts, what a disgusting job is gutting fish …

Your tolerance for public annoyance has to be high though, or you’ll need a pretty big island.
