Er, No

Two Tier, Free Gear Kier thinks difficult decisions are responsible for his unpopularity.

Keir Starmer today dismissed demands for a fresh general election despite a Parliamentary petition hitting 2.2million signatures – and even Michael Caine wading in.

The PM blamed ‘difficult’ decisions in the Budget for the huge backlash he has been facing as he appeared on ITV‘s This Morning.

He insisted the petition just reminded him that ‘very many people didn’t vote Labour’. ‘I’m not surprised many of them want a rerun,’ he said.

‘That isn’t how our system works. There will be plenty of people who didn’t want us in in the first place.

‘So, what my focus is on is the decisions that I have to make every day.’

No. This petition is unprecedented in the honeymoon period of a new government. Usually, the right – unlike the left – tend to knuckle down and run with it when they lose. What is happening here is different. People object to parties that lie their way into power as Two Tier Free Gear Kunt did. They object to farmers being shafted on the one hand while foreign farmers are given a handout. They object to people being jailed for saying things on social media that turned out to be true.

In short, even in Labour areas, people are signing in their thousands. This isn’t the usual dissatisfaction of the losing side whining, this is the massed voices of those who object to liars, charlatans and despots.

Downing Street refused to criticise Musk – set to play a key role in Donald Trump‘s administration – for amplifying the campaign, merely insisting the PM is ‘focused on the issues that matter most to the British people’.

I should hope not. Musk is expressing a perfectly reasonable opinion. It is not – as some have tried to suggest – foreign interference.

 This, however, is.

  1. I was going to rant, but I just saw that sad old slapper, Vorderman, has waded in.

As a reaction to the “right wing whingers”, the old tart wants a referendum on rejoining toytown austria-hungary on the same day as the election the old boot seem happy to concede should happen.

I think we’ve just seen our next chancellor! (or should that be chancellwhore?)

  2. The hypocrisy. No mention of our government actually interfering in a foreign election by sending commies to help Chlamydia.
