Good God

I’d have stacked up a mortgage worth.

New proposals could soon see local councils given the right to issue on-the-spot fines for minor offences such as climbing trees in the park.

What? Seriously, what the flying fuck? I appreciate that climbing trees as a kid seems to be a thing of the past, but is there any aspect of our lives that these petty, tinpot town hall apparatchiks won’t try to tax, regulate or fine?

Hang them. Hang them all.

However, the move toward increased power is being met with criticism as people claim that councils could abuse their powers and use them as a way to generate additional funds.

Well, duh! Of course they will.

  1. OK Godwin alert. Isn’t it a sorry reflection on humanity that this council will have no trouble finding enough sad inadequate twats who will take pleasure in enforcing such petty rules? The sort of people who get their jollies from eating out just so that they can bully the waitstaff and the reason why Charlie Chaplin look alike had no problem at all in finding enough vile scrotes to do all of his dirty work.

    • Lots of people dobbed in their neighbours during the CV-19 pandemic. The idea we were better than the Stasi is total nonsense.

  2. Generating additional funds is the whole point of them. You don’t think they care about the tree which are usually undamaged and completely unaware of the use they were put to.
