Reasons Why…

…Working in the Middle East is a really bad idea.

It’s difficult to be sure just how much truth there was in the allegations made against David Haigh, but he was detained without charge for the best part of two years. The allegations do not appear to have been proved through a fair trail – conviction in a Sharia court is not by any stretch of the imagination, proof beyond reasonable doubt, riddled as it is with incompetence and corruption – and he was accused of sending a tweet while still in gaol. They seem to have decided that he should be acquitted on that one. I suppose that was a step too far beyond credibility even for these regressive, incompetent, spiteful and ignorant scumbags.

These primitive arseholes do not have a justice system. What they have is a corrupt sham that can be used by the spiteful to trump up charges against those they dislike or who have crossed them – and because they decide that the whole thing is run by God, they can do pretty much as they please and evidence be damned.

The best way to stay out of trouble is not to go there in the first place.

  1. Quite, I’d never visit an Islamic shithole, let alone live and work in one. I’d quite like to visit the pre-PedoMo sites in Egypt, but will give it a miss as long as Islam remains a brutal, backward cult (in reality it can’t be anything but as for it to enter the 21st century would be to deny its origins).
