Brexit Will Affect House Prices

My word,  it gets better

The chancellor is due to publish Treasury research about the short-term costs of Brexit in the coming days, and has revealed that one key finding will be that property prices could fall if voters decide to leave the EU on 23 June.

Meanwhile in other news, the very same organ bemoans the high cost of housing…

Surely lower house prices is a good thing. Brexit, then…

  1. Strange that:- I usually expect consistency from The Grauniad:- consistently unreal, consistently PC, consistently hypocritical.

As to house prices falling – bring it on!

  2. Ted, you do understand that the guardian is reporting what the treasury is saying. Should it not report things to be “consistent”?
