Project Fear Again

My word these charlatans are desperate.

But everything we take for granted is at risk as a result of Brexit. If there isn’t a solid plan for managing supply, there could well be shortages. The challenges any plan must meet are enormous.

Yeah, we’re all going to die because we won’t be able to get our prescriptions because of Brexit. Look, it’s really, really simple. We carry on as before with our supply chain. We do nothing and everything moves just as it did before the day we leave. No need for rotting food on the motorways and no need for people to go without their prescriptions.

All it takes is common sense and a little cooperation.

Oh…

  1. If there are problems it is not Brexit that is to blame but the stupidity and ineptitude of our government.

I’m not sure the formidable Mr, sorry, Dr North would agree with you.

@ Stonyground: Stupidity & ineptitude? No, duplicity.

    • You have to ask, would you or I get away with being so hopeless at our jobs that we appeared to have no idea how to do it at all? Or if we did know how to do it, and deliberately did it badly, how long would we get away with that before we were sacked?

Cancel the Apocalypse: Govt Abandons Plan to ‘Drip Feed’ Negative Brexit Stories After Backlash

Click Link: …Stories released so far included lurid descriptions of a nation forced to stockpile food and medicine, with the army deployed to remote areas to stop them from collapsing — a nightmare scenario quite unlike that experienced by any other advanced economy not inside the European Union, let alone a leading member of the G7.

But the initiative has not had the desired effect, with the public pouring derision on the claims — whose credibility has not been helped by the fact that the original Project Fear’s claims that a vote to Leave the European Union would result in a recession and mass layoffs turned out to be completely false.

The Government will now dump all its remaining papers on a single day in August, in hopes that this will minimise their time in the news cycle.
