Nothing to do with Climate

While on the subject of communist extremists, I see that Roger Hallam is in the news again.

The founder of Extinction Rebellion wants those responsible for climate change to face Nuremberg-style trials.

Roger Hallam also called for a ‘World War Two mobilisation’ of society, with rationing and the confiscation of private property.

So once again we are reminded that Extinction Rebellion is a front for extreme left-wing violence. And, yes, confiscating private property is a form of violence as it is a use of force against the individual.

On a side note, I’m more than happy to see the sun brought before a Nuremberg trial. Good luck with that one, idiot.

Asked how those responsible for climate change should be dealt with, he told The Times: ‘The question will be who’s culpable, in the same way [as] with the Nazis.

‘Was it just the top Nazis or was it the small guys?’

He added that ‘maybe [we] should put a bullet in the head’ as punishment.

Well, at least we can see what he is and what he represents – the same thing we fought off two generations ago.

His remarks come days after Counter Terrorism Policing South East apologised for including Extinction Rebellion in a guide of dangerous groups.

What part of Hallam’s rhetoric is not extreme? Does not involve the use of violence? Sure, at the moment they are being peaceful enough, but what happens when their demands are not met?

They are a nasty extremist cult. They should be regarded accordingly.

That said, I’m more than happy to see Hallam spouting off, for it shows everyone exactly what he stands for and it’s got bugger all to do with the climate. The more he speaks this guff and the more that these scumbags disrupt ordinary people the more unpopular they will become. Bring it on.

  1. In 1945 I believe, Stalin suggested that 50000 members of the german general staff (most staff officers by the sound of it) be shot. Truman joked “maybe 49000”.

When trials were suggested, there were real concerns that Nuremberg would be seen simply as Victor’s justice. Get a copy of judgement at nuremberg with Spencer Tracey and Burt Lancaster. Well worth a watch.

Even in 1946, even for people who had committed atrocities on the scale of the nazis, a trial was not as straightforward as it may appear (particularly when among those judging were Hitlers comrades in arms of 1940).

Does this retarded, raging child have any conception of anything other than his own hate?

A “trial” under the auspices of such creatures would make a 17th century witch trial look like Plato’s academy!

Stupid 20 somethings I like to think might grow out of it. But this monster?

      • Well thinking about it, maybe he doesn’t even recognise that. God is talking to him and him alone.

What god that may be, well, that’s not a sewer I wish to crawl through.

          • It appears that there is an inverse correlation these days between education and intelligence. Anything to do with the Left’s annexation of the education industry?

  2. Nasty extremist cult is exactly right. Founded on junk science and mumbo jumbo. Hopefully soon like most cults they’ll all shoot themselves. Meanwhile the full force of the law should be brought on them when they interrupt people going about their business. If it were me i’d have locked up Hallam sometime ago.

    • Oh, if only. Unfortunately, Plod seems to just pussy-foot about. Vigorous removal and arrests are what is supposed to happen. And, no, this is not preventing the right to protest. Protest is absolutely fine. What these people do is actively disrupt ordinary people going about their business. Different thing entirely.

      • Plod seems to just pussy-foot about

Did’nt Plod accuse XR of being an “Extremist” organisation, but then back down?

      • I think you’ll we eventually did arrest them but it was deemed unlawful by the courts. Now we are paying compensation. Speak to the judges and government as to why the polices hands are always tied in dealing with these idiots.

          • Where are Boris’s water-cannon when they’re needed? Hopefully they will make a re-appearance.

          • Easy to blog on the internet old chap but no so easy in practise. It’s your taxes that compensate this vermin and my job on the line if I break the law.

          • You’re missing my point. They are breaking the law by obstructing the highway. The law should be upheld. I do not consider this an unreasonable expectation. The reason they are being compensated is because the Met tried to impose a blanket ban on their protests, so overstepped the mark – something that at the time I felt would end badly. The courts were correct in overturning the ban and it is therefore the fault of the Met that we are paying these cretins compensation. Had the police just cleared the highway immediately and arrested anyone breaking the law, no compensation would have occurred. No one is expecting you to break the law.

  3. How about prosecutions and trials for all of the charlatans and hucksters who have been making a very comfortable living out of climate alarmism over the past three decades?
