Iz It Coz I Iz White?

Microaggressions is the new buzzword for blaming someone else for your failings in life. It’s a non-thing. It doesn’t exist outside of the wokerati who made it up so that someone, anyone could be blamed when things go wrong. Take this example for instance:

Cam’s experiences ranged from managers telling her she looked unprofessional and should be “less of herself” when talking to clients, to being refused for promotions she was overqualified for.

I am male and pale and I have experienced this. Businesses usually have policies on dress and appearance. It’s got fuck all to do with race.

And, yes, I have been declined for jobs for which I was more than able to do and well qualified for – welcome to the adult world. Presumably the employer felt that they had a more suitable candidate.

But, no, it’s racism.

These arseholes are doing their damnedest to set the civil rights movements back to those that existed in the antebellum confederacy.

Cam spoke to senior management and HR about what was happening but says she was “not given support” from either department. In response her probation period got extended, before she says she was “eventually dismissed unfairly”. “When you raise the problem, it’s reflected back to you and you’re made to feel like it’s your problem,” she explains.

So… She was still on probation and expected to be promoted and couldn’t follow basic procedures and wonders why she didn’t get on. But, no, it wasn’t down to her, it was racism.

Fucking Hellski!

As well as systemic issues like unequal pay (110,000 people have signed a petition to introduce mandatory ethnicity pay gap reporting in Britain) or black people being twice as likely to die in police custody, racism can be subtle and insidious.

Okay, now they are just outright lying. Neither of these are supported by the facts. No one is paid less because they are black – we have laws that expressly forbid such behaviour. And more white people die in custody than black people. To make out that black people are more likley to die in custody is to twist the statistics to a point where they are meaningless. In other words, you need to lie. The Independent is lying here.

In peddling this rampant, racist bullshit, I have to conclude that the Independent is a racist organisation. There is no other explanation.

  1. I’m tired of hearing the whining bastards now. But then it has always been a lefty trait that screw up that they make of their lives is everybody else’s fault.

    • Likewise. Can’t do the job properly, can’t follow procedures and whines that it is someone else’s fault. Lack of personal responsibility. I feel obliged to make that point though even if I am shouting in the darkness.

  2. As you’ve described before Longrider, in my younger days I had very long hair, and boy, did that bring me all manner of unwanted attention, hassle, comment and ‘discrimination’ everywhere from the office workplace to the police to young wannabes on the street out for trouble. That’s life, get used to it.

Who will hold the line against this deranged nonsense? It certainly seems as though no one in the political arena, and few in public discourse have the cojones to do so. Honourable exception for Douglas Murray letting fly about the MSN silence over the homophobic context of the recent murders in Reading, though.

    • Yes, I listened his interview on Talk Radio. Toby Young is making waves with his Free Speech Union and chalking up some victories along the way.

    • Yes, the MSN is keen to avoid the point about a Islamic nutcase targeting homosexuals because that would shine a light on the fact that Islamic views are both rather conservative about “teh gayers” and rather popular (to say the least).

They’ve invested a lot of time and effort in the “Religion of Peace” narrative, which could all get demolished if people start wandering around asking questions and publishing honest replies.

  3. Local Live online ran a full article on the racism suffered by a chap of mixed Asian/Black heritage and how it had blighted his career.
The rather dark head’n’shoulders pic showed a presentable enough young man with short but unruly hair.
They failed to doctor the full body pic which showed his hair to be startlingly bright electric lemon, combined with skin tight ripped leggings and enormous flyaway pixie boots.
    Look to thyself young man.

Meanwhile last week R4 featured a similarly put upon young woman who had suffered as the only ethnic in her class. Imagine the horror of other children asking to touch her hair ?
    Jane Gearvy positively gushed sympathy.
I should get myself on there to complain about classmates wanting to try on my specs.

  4. It’s been racist for decades – probably even since it appeared in the 80s – always popular with ‘professional anti-racists’ (who are of course themselves the most racist people in the country!)

  5. ”…The Independent is lying here…”

Here, there and everywhere (to nick a phrase from Lennon & McCartney).

  6. “And more white people die in custody than black people”

    Ah.

    But.

    You’re not looking closely enough.

While Blacks make up only 3% of the population, 8% of the deaths in custody are black people.

    Clearly discriminatorywasiamist.

    Or something.

But those are the numbers they use to get the media attention.

Perhaps Black people should stop committing more than their fair share of crimes, perhaps? (I joke, but, still – this is the sort of rhetoric lambasted against whites these days..)
