We Could See This Coming…

A face mask Nazi gets assaulted.

The man who was knocked unconscious by a pram-pushing rail passenger as he argued with station staff over face masks has told the horrific moment he was knocked to the floor with blood pouring out of his head.

John Adam spent 24 hours in hospital being treated for severe laceration, a severely cut lip and given stitches for a head wound after being punched at Clapham Junction Railway station.

Reliving the attack, Mr Adam, 43 told MailOnline: ‘I was very angry that some of the staff at Clapham were not wearing masks, particularly one woman. She just told me to mind my own business and that just made me angrier.

While I do not condone the violence, John Adam is an arsehole. It is none of his concern if someone is not wearing a mask. There are plenty of people who are exempt from doing so and Adam has no business whatsoever challenging them on the matter, so “mind your own business” was the appropriate response to a self-appointed busybody who has clearly been on too much Koolaid.

He added: ‘I did get a worked up and accused the staff of spreading coronavirus. I think this man mistakenly thought that I was talking about him. The next thing I know is that he walks in my direction and then everything went black.’

Moron! Seriously, around 5% of people in the country actually have it. The virulent strain appears to be on the wane as the less virulent strain gradually works its way through the population. Yet this thick as pig shit moron thinks that wearing a mask is somehow going to prevent the spread of the virus. I suggest that he buys an airtight  one, that will do the trick.

It is at times like this that I am reminded that the capacity for stupidity among the population is unlimited.

He cried: ‘They were right in my face, arguing with me. I’m dealing with physical injuries and now I’m really worried that I might have caught coronavirus. I wanted to make a very important point about how we all need to wear face masks and look what it’s ended up costing me.’

I’m sorry, am I supposed to be sympathetic here? This man was a massive cunt and now expects people to be sorry for an incident that was entirely his own fault. Sure, maybe the station staff could have acted differently, sure the man who assaulted him crossed a line, but this whole incident was caused by Adam being a planet-sized self-righteous jerk and the likelihood of his contracting the virus is small.

Jesus what an obnoxious little man. That’s the problem with these authoritarian rules, they encourage this kind of behaviour. Toxic pricks like Adam feel empowered to go about making demands on people despite the fact that he is not entitled to challenge anyone not wearing a mask. It is none of his business and if they are exempt, he is breaking the law. And if he really thinks that mask wearing is going to prevent the spread of an airborne virus, I have a bridge he might be interested in.

South Western Railway said the member of staff who was not wearing a mask had a medical exemption.

Baboom Tish. John Adam was in breach of the disability discrimination act.

  1. ‘This man had nothing to do with it. He interfere in something that was none of his business.’

Says the man who was interfering in something that was none of his business.

  2. “Seriously, around 5% of people in the country actually have it.”

Er no. The ONS figures state that their best estimate is that 0.05% (ie one twentieth of one percent, or 1 in 2000) of the population of England has the virus, which is about 25,000 people. One would guess that the prevalence would be even lower in Wales and Scotland. Many of those 25k people would be either at home ill, in hospital ill, or most likely in a nursing home. The numbers out and about in public would be a fraction of the overall cases, so the chances of meeting someone on the street with a live case of Covid is probably somewhere between 1 in 5000 and 1 in 10,000.

  3. In the video he appears to say something to the guy who punched him and I think I would have reacted the same. Its a pity that the punch didn’t kill him, at least then there would be one less busy bodying trouble monger. Its high time that these finger wagging little snitches discovered that actions have consequences. Well done to the guy in the GAP shirt I say.

  4. Wanker deserved what he got. Time more people refused to wear these stupid face nappies. Massive cunt indeed !

  5. In a small supermarket the other day a youngish woman nearly fell into the tinned goods trying to get past maskless me. The look of terror in her eyes was sad to see. She’ll be queuing up for the vaccine.

  6. A few extra things to perhaps consider here. Firstly, if this was someone genuinely afraid of catching a virus, what was he doing going out to a restaurant in London? If it was me, I’d stay at home and cook in. Secondly, why was his mate well prepared with a camera recording the whole event? Looks like he was someone wanting to kick up a fuss purely for the sake of it. The person that thumped him did the right thing. Lastly he needs to go on a diet…covid supposedly attacks fatties (or so we are told).

    • Yes. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

I do wear a mask in shops now and again. I have on it my face, but not over my nose, and not really over my mouth. I’m “wearing” it but I’m clearly not. Try it, you’ll get the odd confused look, from the occasional sheet sniffer/curtain twitcher who clearly would like to get all self righteous but doesn’t have the wit to know how.

Bit like deliberately only tipping 10p in a restaurant where the service has been lousy.

  7. The most comedic line is surely “She just told me to mind my own business and that just made me even angrier.” The one thing a narcissist absolutely cannot abide is someone refusing to give them attention when they demand it. I’m generally against physical violence when avoidable, but Jesus cross-eyed Christ this guy had it coming.

    • Yes. Unfortunately, these kind of regulations encourage the kind of credulous, self righteous cretins such as Adam to engage in this kind of behaviour. “Mind your own business” was exactly the response he deserved and he is not allowed to challenge people on their disabilities. Frankly, I’d like to see him prosecuted and fined under the disability discrimination act to drive the point home good and hard.

As for catching Covid 19, if he’s that worried, then he can stay at home and hide under the duvet, thereby doing the rest of the world a favour.

  8. Just a local anecdote from Merseyside. I never wear one, exempt anyway, never been challenged, but if someone were to ask what my condition was, I am going to reply that my condition is that I’m quite good at maths, and can see that it’s bollox

That aside though, a few nights ago, was in Aldi maskless, in walk two police officers, not a word said to either myself or any other maskless patrons of the store. I would guess around 30% are maskless here in the bigger stores, and more like 80% in the smaller.

No sign of any disagreements here. Maybe we’re nicer in the north.

  9. Hopefully he has got COVID and it does prove fatal – from the description Of his behaviour above I am guessing the guy is either a Corbynite, a supporter of BLM or XR. In any case he’s no loss.
