I choose the side of the bullied here.
A PhD student is today suing ‘Britain’s wokest university’ over claims they failed to protect her from trans activists who harassed her after she said only biological women can give birth.
Raquel Rosario-Sanchez said she made the comment in response to a row over the word ‘maternity’ which diversity chiefs had branded ‘problematic’.
Ms Rosario-Sanchez says bosses at Bristol University, called the country’s ‘wokest’ by a women’s rights group, didn’t tackle the transgender activists who subjected her to a two-year ‘hate campaign’.
None of this should have happened. Indeed, as soon as it started, the perpetrators should have been hauled up before a disciplinary hearing and warned at the very least. If it happened again, on yer bike. A zero tolerance approach to bullying is the only way to deal with it. However, the university sided with the bullies. What a surprise.
The university lived up to its reputation recently when it issued guidance to its staff on gender identity, pronouns and neopronouns which included instructions on how to address people who identify as cats.
It outlines a definition of catgender and says they should be addressed as nya/nyan.
I’m sorry… What?!? Are we reaching peak insanity yet? The obvious and rational response to this lunacy is to tell them firmly where they can stick both their guidance and their stupid, made-up pronouns and keep shoving until they can feel them on their tongues.
Anyway, I hope that Raquel wins her case. I hope that she takes the bastards to the cleaners. I want to see people thrown out of their jobs and courses over this. I want to see their blood spilling on the streets of Bristol, because we are at war and at the moment, we seem to be losing it. However, there is a caveat to all of this.

This is part of the intersectional game that she decided to play. This is now the result playing out as various victim groups ply for supremacy and at the moment, the trans activists seem to be winning.
It is a mad,mad world.
So we are legally (or be guilty of a hate crime) required to treat these people as they identify.

Do I have to report it to the police if I hit them with my truck? I had to report hitting a dog years ago, but I didn’t have to report hitting a cat a few years later. Unless that’s changed?
And if you did hit them with your truck, would you have to call for an ambulance or a vet?
It is a curious fact that a Vet can treat a human being as in give medical aid but it is illegal for a medical doctor to treat an injured animal.
Why would any sane person want to study at such a university as this. Surely a degree from such a place would have a negative effect on your employment prospects.
Bullying seems to be fine if it’s the “correct” side doing it.

What? Are these places being run by seven year olds now? I’ve heard it said that further education is about putting off adulthood for a few more years. I didn’t think that it meant staying in primary school.
It’s an argument for vocational qualifications, I’d have said.

I heard recently that a university is running a literature course to study…..Harry Potter novels… and…..there are trigger warnings!!
They’d need medical attention were they to study Shakespeare.
Which side to choose? The reasonable who advocate biological reality or the Marxists who enable an irrational fantasy?

Jordan Peterson became famous when he said he was quite happy to address people by their preferred pronouns as a matter of courtesy but he was not prepared to accept legally ‘compelled speech’.

These people are ‘biology deniers’ and should be known as such. After all, the science that says you can’t change sex is much more certain than the science behind the climate change scare.

Interestingly, some animals do change sex. Humans can’t, but some do.
The humble clown fish resides within its home, with a senior mating pair and several juvenile males hanging around to help out. They delay their puberty to avoid appearing as a challenger to the dominant male.
However, if the female dies, the dominant male will change to female and then mate with one of its own juveniles to continue passing on its genes.
Only really tangentially related to the topic at hand. And I’m in no way suggesting that humans are like clown fish – though there are definitely some clowns among us.

There’s a parasite that invades fish through their gills and takes over their tongue. That changes sex. Horrible little thing.
I’ve been to Japan many times and the people are friendly and welcoming. I have even seen cats wandering about. They call ‘Meow, meow’ NOT Nyan. FFS are these Japanese deaf to cats? And why are idiots in Bristol University picking up on deaf Japanese nonsense about the sound/cries cats make? Perhaps Lithium chloride should be added to the Bristol water supply.
I read about this sort of infantilism with genuine bemusement because it is ABSOLUTELY not the world I live in.
Here, in the south coast town I’ve lived in for the last 30 odd years, things seem pretty well as normal as they’ve always been (apart from a strange plague of face nappies).
The population is pretty well exclusively white and higher average age, but can’t think that this could be in any way relevant.
I look at these strange zoos, like Bristol and degenerate middens like londanistan and wonder what is actually going on. I sometimes get the urge to go and have a look, but wonder if they might have event horizons and I would find myself trapped inside for ever.
Joking aside, when I see people who are this damaged by the “woke” mental rabies, I really do wonder if they will ever be able to function in any sort of sane society.
I simply cannot get inside this mindset, no matter how much I try. How is it possible to believe this shite? How!
