Tucker Carlson interviews Kelly Jay Keen. What is interesting is the brief exchange she has with the idiot at the swimming pool. This seems to be a standard fallacy these days – if you are not some sort of expert, you cannot comment. They seem to think that this is some sort of killer argument, despite it being of a level of argument that most of us left behind when we were about twelve years old and grew up. No, you do not need to be a biologist to determine what a woman is – and Kelly Jay made a neat little comeback – I’m not a veterinarian, but I know what a dog is. Equally, I’m not a meteorologist, but I know when it is raining. We could play this one all day. However, she could have played the moron at his own game. I am a biologist, because I identify as one…

That Texas girl seems … unimpressed. Got us a new Kayla!
I’m not a gynaecologist, but I’m happy to take a look.
It’s the same straw man argument James Whale (talkRadio) uses on anyone questioning the official Covid agenda on lockdowns, masks, vaccine etc
“Are you a Doctor? If not, shut-up, good bye”
Mike Graham is simarly bad: mention NATO expansion east and you’re a Putin supporter. It’s Covid Mk2: oppose Gov’t & MSM propoganda and rhetoric, you’re an evil killer
This is good:
James Whale is a moron. Mike Graham is marginally better.
My view is that Mike Graham is one of our better broadcasters. The fact that you disagree with him on one matter doesn’t make him a bad broadcaster of course. Also you perhaps accidentally give the impression that he supports the lockdowns and other Government restrictions. That is not the case at all; he has consistently opposed them from the start.
He did say that you can grow concrete. Also, he has a tendency to talk over callers that disagree with him, which is irritating to say the least. That said, his regular slots with Peter Hitchens through the covid nonsense were a breath of fresh air.
Are you a builder?

At about 9 mins talk moves to Ukraine and Mike Graham doesn’t challenge Hitchen’s truths or, as he does with others, call him a Putin supporter for attributing blame to NATO, EU and Ukraine breaking agreements and treaties

Conclusion: Mike Graham knows he is wrong and doesn’t want roasted by Hitchens. Is Graham virtue signalling or is Ofcom leaning on broadcasters same as Covid?

@David Norman
On Covid, Lockdowns, masks, the jabs… Mike Graham very much swayed with the wind from week to week, much like Fraser Nelson. In general both tended to support all Gov’t insanity
@Ripper
Interesting article, thanks
Q: Why aren’t rebars galvanised ?
As far as I know its too expensive to justify the longevity of the rebar. Usually the rebar, ungalved will outlast the building. But don’t quote me on that, its what I was told when I asked the very same question many years ago. I used to work in a galvanising plant.
We must have been listening to different Mike Grahams.
Thanks. Good we thought same.
The constructions concret failing before rebar is nonsensical as the concrete fails due to the rebar corrosion expansion exploding the concrete
Id’d hoped answer would be along lines of zinc and concrete causes a terminal reaction
The same argument is applied to the climate change issue. If you are not a climate scientist then you are not qualified to comment. Even if you are a climate scientist and can present impeccable credentials, you are only allowed to comment if you agree with the alarmists.
“I’m not a meteorologist, but I know when it is raining.”
Or, as Dylan said:
“You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.”
