Yup. I’ve told them to stick their invoice up their arse and fuck off. Also, telling them to issue proceedings is legalese for put up or shut up. It forestalls any protracted correspondence with increasingly threatening letters. I’ve already told them I’ll see them in court. If they get debt collectors involved, I’ll simply provide the debt collector with all the relevant correspondence and evidence at which point they will drop it and hand it back to UPS. They really have nowhere to go from here because they have been told in no uncertain terms, that I won’t be intimidated.

It did. It’s probably the worst example of piss poor website design I’ve come across.
I think that it would be an interesting thing to study, how companies and corporations end up completely losing their way. It would end up being a real go to resource for spotting the red flags that warn that the firm might soon be circling the drain.
I know hindsight makes life easy but I’m currently reading a book about the history of the Triumph Trident and the BSA Rocket 3. The rise of Japanese imports was going to make life difficult anyway but the serial incompetence of the management at the company was quite astonishing.

In the future, I recommend FedEx so try and use a company that uses them as a courier.
I ordered something from Illinois on the Sat 28th Oct, with an estimated delivery date by manufacturer of the 6th Nov.
It was collected same day, with an updated estimated delivery date by FedEx of the 2nd Nov.
They got it across the Atlantic and to my front door by Tues 31 Oct.
Not the first time I’ve had them perform that well and deliver stuff from the states in a day or two.
Very recommend.
