Vive La France

That’s how to do it.

France has deported a Tunisian cleric who allegedly called the country’s flag satanic.

Mahjoub Mahjoubi, 52, was flown to North Africa just 12 hours after his arrest over sermons said to go against French values.

His deportation last Thursday is seen as a demonstration of tough immigration laws brought in by president Emmanuel Macron.

Mr Mahjoubi had gone viral on social media after apparently referring to France’s three-coloured flag as ‘satanic’.

He was arrested and deported despite living in the country since the 1980s and raising five children there.

Unlike them he did not have French citizenship and had his residency permit cancelled.

That’s pretty quick. Now, how about the rest of the invaders? I don’t think Macron is the incarnation of El Cid, but it is a step in the right direction.

  1. The rapist in Rochdale and the like should have been on the first plane available to Pakistan after their sentences were complete.

It really takes a lot of hatred to keep people like this in the country. Why don’t TPTB bugger off and leave us alone if they despise us so much?

    • It costs more than £50k a year to keep him in jail here, he should have been deported immediately after the guilty verdict. Along with a message to Pakistan that, if he doesn’t serve the full sentence there, then aid money to the equivalent x 100 will be withheld. Double win.

  2. On the other hand, they just passed a law where you now cannot criticise government approved health policies….

The immigration law that was recently passed is actually very weak and most of it needs to be redone after the conseil constitutionnel cancelled 35 articles or something.

More political theatre by that bitch micron.

  3. I’m still trying to get my head around how a flag consisting of three coloured panels can be thought to be satanic. When it comes to seeing the imaginary bogeyman everywhere, that one takes some beating.

  4. The British politicians excuse that these people cannot be deported because of EU rules and Human Rights etc. is undercut.

Remind me again who left the EU and who is still a member?
